What information we process
When you create an account, we process: first name, business email address, company name and domain, job title, company size, customer type (B2B, B2C or both) and country/market.
When you run a brand analysis, we process the link to your website and any other material (documents, images) you choose to submit. If you add a competitor brand to the platform, we also process the competitor's name and website URL. Analysis results, recommendations and your notes are saved to your account.
When you make a payment, information is processed via Paddle, see below.
Why we process the information
We process the information in order to deliver the analysis and associated features (contract), to manage your account and subscription (contract/legitimate interest), to improve the platform based on aggregated and anonymised usage patterns (legitimate interest) and — if you have given consent — to send you marketing about brandvju (consent).
Who we share information with
In order to deliver the service we use a number of suppliers who process data on our behalf (data processors):
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany/EU) — hosting of the platform
- Neon — database, hosted in the EU on AWS Europe Central 1 (Frankfurt)
- AI technology supplier — brandvju is built to be independent of a single AI supplier. We currently use Anthropic (USA) to generate analyses and recommendations. Transfer of data to Anthropic takes place on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). If we change supplier, this page will be updated and we will impose the same transfer requirements regardless of supplier.
- Paddle.com Market Limited (UK) — handles payment, invoicing and VAT as our Merchant of Record
- Azehosting (Denmark) — provides the email solution we use for login and notifications
We do not sell your information, and we do not disclose it for purposes other than the above.
How long we retain information
Your analyses, recommendations and account information are stored for as long as your account is active. We also use aggregated and anonymised data to improve the platform's analysis model over time — this data is not linked to your identity. You may at any time request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting info@brandvju.com.
Automated analysis
brandvju uses automated analysis to generate reports, scorecards and recommendations based on the material you submit. The results are generated using AI technology and should be read as a professional basis for decision-making, not as a final assessment. The underlying AI technology we use is always stated in the section “Who we share information with” above.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability. You may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. Enquiries should be directed to info@brandvju.com.
Security
We employ technical and organisational security measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Changes
We will update this policy if our processing of data changes. The latest version is always available on this page.
